On next 27-28 September IPA FF is taking part to the regional workshop on “Synergies between Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction” organized under the EU-funded project Transition towards Low Emissions and Climate Resilient Economy in the Western Balkans and Turkey – TRATOLOW (https://www.tratolownetwork.eu/).
The workshop will involve also representatives from DG ECHO, relevant ministries from the Members Sates and regional initiatives and will provide policymakers and experts of the region with knowledge-sharing on national adaptation plans and linkages to broad disaster risk reduction and natural hazard management also at trans-national level.
IPA FF will have a dedicated slot in the workshop agenda of 27 September to present the program approach for supporting the Western Balkans and Turkey with further integration of flood early warning into existing emergency response plans.
